How to report...

Animals in Need

Message us on Facebook, Instagram or emailĀ  contact@boracayanimalrescue.com

PLEASE INCLUDE:

  • EXACT location of the animal (photos and a pin preferred)
  • time that you saw the animal
  • a description of the problem
  • include photos and/or a video
  • state if you are willing to sponsor the vet bills and/or ongoing care of the animal

IF YOU SEE A SMALL KITTEN please ask everyone around if there is a mother cat nearby. Wait or come back an hour later, to see if the kitten is still there… unless it is OBVIOUS they were thrown out (in a bag or container by the road.) Often mothers move their kittens to find safety or are out hunting for food… we do not want to separate them unnecessarily.

Please know that we are COMPLETELY volunteer based and receive multiple reports a day. We respond as quickly as we are able to but it depends on availability of our volunteers. If you see an animal in distress and are able to bring them to the vet immediately and be responsible for the bill, please do so, as it will help the animal receive care quicker and give us more time to find a solution for them.

Since our two shelters are currently at capacity, it is very hard for us to take in more animals however we will do our best to find a foster home or volunteer able to help them.
